How do I access Physiotherapy at Plus Allied Health Group?
You do not require a referral to see a psychologist.
Psychology is a private service, meaning that you pay out of pocket for this service. There are a variety of rebates available.
If you have Private Health Insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate depending on your cover. You will need to confirm personally with your health insurer. Please bring your health insurance membership card to your appointment, where it will be swiped through our HICAPS terminal, for an on-the-spot claim with your health fund. You will need to pat the remaining cost of the treatment (the gap) in the clinic.
If you have been deemed eligible by your GP, you may be eligible for bulk billing with Plus Allied Health Group, for up to ten combined sessions per calendar year under the government’s ‘Mental Health Treatment Plan’ program. You’ll need a GP referral addressed to Plus Allied Health Group prior to your first appointment.
If your injury is related to work or a third party accident (CTP), we will require your claim number, your insurer details, date of injury, notice of pre-approval if available and workers certificate of capacity prior to your first appointment.
If you call the clinic, our reception team will be happy to guide you through the process.
